Becoming a WSD Member is an important and strategic way to ensure the success and sustainability of WSD's initiatives.
Increasingly, WSD will be actively involved to support and enrich academic and cultural activities across the world, so people can lead a safe and prosperous life of high economic, social and cultural standards.Our membership can reach capacity, which we can discuss with you when you register your interest.
Membership fee
Enrollment Fee: ¥ 50,000

Regular member - ¥ 12,000
Supporting member - ¥ 200,000
Special Supporting member - ¥ 300,000

Section I General Provisions
Article 1 – ‘Membership’
A member is an individual or corporation agreeing with the purposes and objectives of the special non-profit incorporation, Worldwide Support for Development (WSD), and has completed the enrollment form.
Article 2 – ‘Types of Membership’
There are three types of membership: regular member, supporting member and special supporting member. Benefits and conditions for each membership are described separately.
Article 3 – ‘Service for Members’
WSD members are subject to services as separately prescribed. Section II Enrollment and Withdrawal.
Article 4 ‘Enrollment’
Membership starts when WSD receives your completed enrollment form and paid annual membership dues.
Article 5 ‘Withdrawal’
A member can withdraw at any time, but once paid, the membership fee will not be refunded for any reason due to the characteristics of the membership fee and WSD’s activities. To re-enroll once withdrawn, proceed as a new enrollment.
Article 6 ‘Procedure for Withdrawal and Re-enrollment’
A member intending to withdraw or re-enroll needs to provide at least one month prior notice to WSD by telephone or writing.
Article 7 ‘Suspension of Membership’
If a member breaches the membership rules, or if WSD judges one to be inappropriate as a member, services for the member may be suspended.
Article 8 ‘ Membership Fee’
The membership fee will be paid upon admission for the corresponding fiscal year, and thereafter, the annual membership fee will be paid on February 27 each year (if February 27 falls on a Saturday or public holiday, then on the following business day). The fee can be paid either by bank or postal transfer bank, in accordance with the provisions set out separately from this Regulation. In each case, the membership fee will remain in effect for a year from the date of payment. If WSD is unable to receive the transferred funds, the secretariat will notify the member to that effect and request payment of the membership fee into a designated bank account. Members who join between November and January will be regarded as having paid the fees for the fiscal year beginning from the following February. From then on the annual membership fee will be required at the beginning of each fiscal year.
Article 9 ‘ Unpaid Dues’
If membership fees remains unpaid for two years, the member is automatically withdrawn and is no longer subject to the membership services.

Article 10 ‘Communication’
WSD will communicate all official procedures and other communications to members.
Article 11 ‘Amendment of Member’s Data’
WSD shall immediately be notified of any change of a member’s name, address, workplace, bank account data, and a form shall be submitted if necessary. If a member fails to notify WSD, then we cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery or correspondence.

For the purposes of improvement of membership services, membership rules andmother related provisions may be amended, deleted or added without advanced notice or communication.Section I General Provisions
