For over a decade, WSD has helped advance the work of World Faiths Development Dialogue (WFDD), a not-for-profit organization working at the intersection of religion and global development. Based at Georgetown University, WFDD was established in 1998 to develop dialogues and conferences, foster communities of practice, collect case-studies on faith-based organizations and promote understanding on religion and development.
In 2020 and 2021, WFDD through WSD delivered the Religious Responses to COVID-19 Project, a collaboration between the Berkley Center, WFDD, and Jewish Learning Institute. Two years in, the project continues to build and has grown substantially to include a recently launched website repository that allows one to easily search for news and documents related to faith and COVID-19.
Alongside the project website, WFDD has hosted over 20 webinars associated with the project and its partners, as well as multiple related publications and blog posts. The project team continues to send out weekly highlights to its wide distribution list where the vast contributions the project has made since its inception are featured.Learn more about World Faiths Development Dialogue
